Day 1
#A023 - An abomination. A monster. A thing. Another result of an experiment. The result of a creature put under large amounts of radiation, distortion and cutting. Its legs and arms are weirdly disfigured, yet it walks with no problems, faster than any other of the first specimens. 23 is the first of the A class experiments to be able to function properly by itself. As tests tell, even without eyes, it is able to locate with ease. It has a strong sense of smell and hearing. We have it isolated from anything else before we begin more serious tests, but it somehow reacts to every sounds even through the 10 centimeter bullet proof glass.

Day 2
It has ripped open the stitches that were on his neck. It revealed a large mouth with deadly teeth. 23 has went in a frenzy. It seems that it cannot bear the presence of garlic, or someone eating. Or both. My colleague decided to eat a garlic sandwich in front of the isolation. I can't believe it still heard the chewing and smelled the sense of garlic with the thick walls and glass. And who in their sane mind decided to stitch it's mouth with plain string?!

Day 5
#A023 seems to have cooled down from the frenzy. My colleagues are considering in putting the creature down, as there's already a crack in the glass from its rage. It's dangerous for it to be around us. But I couldn't let them. I volunteered to go in the isolated cage with it, to stitch its mouth back. It turns out that the creature is misunderstood. I spent the whole night in the cage, as it wanted to "cuddle" next to me as i spoke to it. I got unbelievably slobbered by its saliva as the result. I can't believe how sweet the "abomination" really is.

Day 10
They want to cut it open, to see what produces the amount of saliva since it never drinks anything. I couldn't let them- i made sure it could escape and break free. The vents were the key. I made sure they would be open enough for it to get through the grates. As it heard the sound of blades being sharpened, 23 went into a frenzy again, and escaped through the vents. I just hope it won't freeze in the snow.

Day 17
I abandoned the facility to follow #A023, research its behaviour and to make sure its mouth is stitched in the end of every frenzy. It sleeps like a baby, so i manage to sneak away every time after its weekly cuddles.

Day ???
I've been following it around for a long time now, and i've managed to write down many notes about it. I've also decided to refer to it as 'He' even though he has no gender.

Notes:
    - He has no gender, or reproductive systems, or even any digestive systems.
    - He seems to become enraged every time he hears/smells someone eating. I presume it's because of him being envious of the person, as he can't eat, because he has no stomach.
    - 23 despises the smell of garlic, as it's strong and sharp and hurts him.
    - He also despises knives or anything sharp, because of him being cut a lot after his mutations were done.
    - He's sensitive in terms of pain, and hates to be hurt by someone. Which also often brings him into a frenzy
    - While enraged, he doesn't control himself and starts to attack anyone, often leaving them dead.
    - As found out before, he actually is very lovable, and loves to kiss, snuggle, and listen to a person talking as he falls asleep.

He is known as specimen #A023. He is the 23rd mutated specimen in the A class experiments(the first ever mutated experiments) out of more than a 100.  But i simply call him 23 or A23, or just Snugglebud.

I really don't know if we needed, or if we could give our entry a personality or backstory, but even if it's not needed and if it wouldn't be counted in, i still wanted to do it. Because geeeez i love this thing! I seriously wanted to tell its story! I really hope the winning mascot can still be kept as a character hhhh!

Also, i think i'm too obsessed with Dead space 3 xD I was inspired to do a creepy thing only thanks to that xD
